Hooves of Happiness, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded to provide emotional support and comfort to elderly individuals and disabled veterans through mobile equine-assisted therapy: structured visits with trained miniature ponies.
Mission: The mission is to bring joy, reduce lonliness, and promote well-being through the power of human-animal connection.
Vision: Our vision is a world where the healing bond between people and and ponies fosters emotional wellness, dignity and happiness across generations
About the founder:
Lydia Vine
As a competitive show jumper and a dedicated volunteer for equine rescue and welfare, Lydia has spent years studying equine biomechanics and rehabilitation.
These experiences led her to found Hooves of Happiness, Inc., an organization dedicated to providing mobile equine-assisted therapy to disadvantaged and underserved individuals coping with disability and trauma.
She is currently a junior in high school, but one day aspires to be a radiologist.
