Hooves of Happiness, Inc. is a nonprofit organization founded to provide emotional support and comfort to elderly individuals and disabled veterans through mobile equine-assisted therapy: structured visits with trained miniature ponies.
Mission: The mission is to bring joy, reduce lonliness, and promote well-being through the power of human-animal connection.
Vision: Our vision is a world where the healing bond between people and and ponies fosters emotional wellness, dignity and happiness across generations
About the founder:
Lydia Vine
Lydia is a lifelong competitive equestrian with a deep passion for both horses and helping others. She is currently studying to become a Certified Equine-Assisted Therapist, and through this endeavor she was inspired to found Hooves of Happiness, Inc. - a non profit dedicated to sharing the healing power of horses with elderly individuals and disabled veterans. She operates Hooves of Happiness, Inc. in Palm City, Florida. She is in the first semester of her junior year in high school, but she aspires to one day become a radiologist.
